Everyone has their favourite special restaurant. A place where you go to celebrate a special occasion like birthday, anniversary or Valentine’s day. A place where you can bring a girl for the first date. A place where your partner and you go to have a great time. Or a place where girlfriends meet for girls’ night out.
Where to go for a romantic dinner? Here is our guide to Singapore’s 20 Most Romantic Restaurants.

Introducing Colony with a gourmet buffet that is set to impress even the most discerning taste buds with its mouthwatering spread of Chinese, Indonesian, Indian, Malaysian, Western and local dishes.
We are completely in awe of the décor and ambience of Colony and would return in a heartbeat for a stellar meal. LA BRASSERIE
What we love most about La Brasserie (pictured in the first photo of this post), other than its exquisite offerings, is that it is effortlessly chic and a gorgeous place to dine in. This restaurant at Fullerton Bay Hotel is a venue that works perfectly for all occasions – be it a business luncheon with work associates, a gathering with your pals, or a romantic date with your partner.
The Duck Confit is one of the best in town, and something that I will return for again and again. The Lemon Tart is also very good. If it is your first-time there, make sure to try these two items.

JAAN restaurant at level 70 of Swissotel has been ranked among the best restaurants in Asia. It really deserves every accolade it has earned.
When you eat at one of the top tables, you are not just paying for the food. You’re also paying for everything that comes along with it: the location, the rent, the service, the plates, the view, and the ambience. JAAN has it all – the central location at City Hall; highest restaurant in Singapore; breathtaking view of the city’s skyline; knowledgeable servers who do a good job between the dining room and kitchen; and most importantly, good food.
A meal at JAAN is not cheap. I can’t afford to eat there all the time, but for a lavish meal like this, enjoyed with a amazing view – it is a fine way to splurge during a special occasion.

THE WHITE RABBIT
Housed in a beautifully restored old chapel, The White Rabbit is one of the most romantic restaurants in Singapore, and a place that I always recommend for a special date.
The White Rabbit used to be rather inconsistent in the past, but that is no longer the case with the return of Chef Benjamin Tan (the restaurant’s opening sous-chef) to helm the kitchen. The food is still pretty much classic European comfort food with familiar flavours, but the dishes are elevated to something special with the quality of ingredients.

They are really romantic, I can’t help to forward your article to my boyfriend
Thanks for the beautiful pictures and the recommendation.
Surely will drop by (at least one of them)when in Singapore
thanks for the beautiful blog which is very romantic for all
Earl of Hindh at Quayside isle is also a romantic place, Infact we found it to be the most romantic Indian restaurant in singapore. We had a lovely time there ( me and my wife) and was taken care by the restaurant owners themselves .
I’ll never consider The Coastal Settlement romantic leh~ -.-
Hi, very nice blog i can say.. are there any halal romantic restaurant ?
Nice round up. But you missed out a couple of restaurants that I think are very romantic like Alkaff Mansion and Equinox.
Great to know. We’ll make it a point to visit some of them on our next visit to Singapore. This may serve as a good reference for Cambodians and restaurant owners in Cambodia helping them understand what is trending in the other parts of Asia.
Big ups from the nhammm.com crew!
There’s this new restaurant at labrador park area called eco gourmet cafe, provides a lush tropical atmosphere that I find much more romantic than many of these restaurants
Can’t help but notice that you’ve missed The Cliff @ Sentosa.
Ambience and view is hard to beat and the food is pretty good too, if pricey.
Perfect for that special evening!
This is a really nice list.. and after making a few phone calls to the above restaurants, It’s unfortunate to discover a lack of menu items for us vegetarians..
Looking forward to reading more of your posts (hopefully, taking us minorities into consideration too!)

The number should be 6431 6156.
I’m sorry, but this should really be called “One of Singapore’s most expensive restaurants,” in the sense that no everyday plain-jane couple would make a trip to any of these joints and enjoy their food at the price. Or has society been so accustomed to $48 steaks, so much so that we no longer balk at the blatant wrongfulness when it comes to linking financial extravagance and romance?
I think the most romantic restaurant is NOX – Dine in the Dark at Beach Road. It’s a very romantic and unique experience.
everything in singapore is expensive.
Lol.. what bollocks. How is dining in the dark romantic. Perhaps, it because you dont have to see her face?
You missed out Ristorante Da Valentino too! Its at Turf Club Road.
@Isabelle That’s my all-time favourite Italian restaurant in Singapore. I didn’t add it in because it’s more homely and rustic rather than romantic? haha
My husband and I went to The White Rabbit on a Saturday night and the food was great except for one thing – the accoustics of the place amplified voices amd there was a loud and jovial group near us and it was impossible for us to talk or even hear ourselves over the din! Not romantic in the end.
What about Adrift by David Myers? Beautiful setting there!
