Have you ever dreamed of being Alice, falling down a rabbit hole and entering a magical world where you could meet The Madhatter, Chesire the cat and gang? If you are visiting Nagoya or Osaka, you will be able to do just that!
Alice on Wednesday is a cool kid to look out for on your next trip to those Japanese cities. Think a lifestyle concept store that is put together entirely based on the love for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
No Anne Hathaway, though.
But we promise you the White Queen Room will be pleasing all the same with a dazzling array of sweet treats that is nothing short of depicting Alice’s whimsical world – frosted cookies, popcorn in the colours of a rainbow, cute little candies and whatnot. And if you want a piece of the Red Queen, they would be in the form of thematic accessories like charms, umbrellas and tote bags.
A new outlet at Osaka has just opened some time last month, and during our spring break, we paid the concept store a visit and boy, were we blown away by the sheer splendour! It took us a while to figure out where the entrance is. And of course, it had to be that tiny hole that had us bending our bodies into half. Such unadulterated joy, really.
Alice on Wednesday is indeed a brilliant concept and if you ever find yourself there some day, do not forget to bring home a piece of that whimsical world because most of the merchandise are under USD20!

Hello there ! So i recently visited the Alice on Wednesday store which was situated in Nagoya. Besides from all the jewellry i have bought, i also purchased a ‘Drink Me’ potion bottle from the White Queen section. I wasn’t actually sure if it’s a kind of beverage, or just something that you should put on display, do you have any idea what it is though?
someone has given me the “Drink Me” potion as well, and I don’t know if I should drink it, LOL.
The stuff in the white room was all edible, so it was meant to be consumed! (I visited the store in Osaka a few months ago)
