#2 SALTED EGG YOLK – TOM’S PALETTE
At Tom’s Palette, all ice cream are made in-house with less cream, sugar and less air beating-in for richer tastes. Having the Salted Egg Yolk Ice Cream (S$3.20) is like eating spoonfuls of smooth salted egg yolk custard, with textures similar to that of Italian gelato.
Since you are able to choose 2 flavours in a cup, you might want to opt for their Sarsi Vanilla Float Ice Cream or their Soy Bean and You Tiao Ice Cream!

Think your favourite Kaya spread served in the form of ice-cream. The smooth Kaya Ice Cream (S$3.50) at The Daily Scoop tickled our local taste buds and left quite an impression. We were even fantasising about bagging it home and spreading it atop a slice of bread. #9 PARMA HAM AND MELON – DESSERT PROJECT
It might seem challenging to convert such an intricate ingredient to an ice cream flavour, but the people at Dessert Project aced it with their Melon Parma Ham Ice Cream (S$4.50). The bits of ham left a piquant aftertaste which did not steal the limelight from the melon ice cream base.
