There are many chefs who are celebrities in their own rights; then, there are celebrities who aspire to become chefs and restaurant owners.
Mediacorp artist, Shane Pow, is one of them. The young and promising lad—who is a Channel 8 actor—is set to open his first restaurant-cum-bar come January 2017. Mojo Singapore is what it is, and it is said to be a collaboration with the team behind Sin Lee Foods.
Mojo Singapore at Telok Ayer is slated to open in January 2017. Not much information has been released, but as of now, we know we are going to have more options when we need our grilled bowls.
The Japanese-style donburi trend is picking up in Singapore—slowly but surely—and Mojo Singapore will be serving up rice bowls in the day.
And when night falls, they will transform into an izakaya of sorts, with a menu of yakitori, small plates, and alcoholic beverages. Ready for some soju, sake, cocktails and beers?

And of course, fans of Shane Pow should be very excited about seeing their idol in the flesh. This is one restaurant opening that we are indeed excited about.
