The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf – New Mains And Mexican Chocolate Drinks

Coffee Bean New Menu

Convenient locations, a good range of coffee and tea, quick meals for those who are in a rush and affordable price tags are some reasons why we appreciate The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL).

It is a welcoming brand for all working adults and students who like to stay on to finish their work while enjoying a drink and some light bites. Look forward to a new selection of gourmet dishes and two types of Mexican Chocolate Drinks on your next visit to CBTL! The menu features all-day breakfast items, salads, fresh sandwiches and hearty pasta.

Mediterranean Eggs Benedict

MEDITERRANEAN SANDWICH

If you think this reminds you of the mandatory Eggs Benedict dish in cafes, you are half right!

At The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, the Mediterranean Sandwich (S$13.90) is served in its own unique fashion with poached eggs being covered in a generous portion of creamy Hollandaise sauce. It is accompanied with tomatoes, feta cheese spinach and turkey ham on Vienna Bread.

Coffee Bean Avocado Tuna Melt

AVOCADO TUNA MELT

Avocados make everything taste better and it does not hurt that this Superfruit comes with plenty of health benefits too.

New to the menu, the Avocado Tuna Melt (S$13.90) is a combination of avocado and tuna mix, topped off with lettuce, tomatoes and Emmental cheese in between two Vienna buns.

The sandwich is paired with sauteéd potatoes and sprinkled bacon bits.

Coffee Bean Chicken Salad

SMOKED CHICKEN SALAD

If you are looking for something to fill your tummy but nothing too heavy, we recommend the new Smoked Chicken Salad (S$11.90). The salad comes with leafy greens, smoked chicken breast, bright red cherry tomatoes, dried cranberries, almond flakes and sesame dressing.

Coffee Bean Pasta Salad

COLD PASTA SALAD WITH TURKEY HAM

Cold Pasta Salad with Turkey Ham can be a side dish, or it can be your main course.

Expect sweet, salty and tangy varieties from richly flavoured ingredients—fresh cherry tomatoes, capsicums, onions, turkey ham and fussili are all tossed in a homemade Caeser dressing. Nothing overly creamy, and despite it being cold, we actually liked it as a main course. For S$9.90 per portion, it actually comes in a pretty generous portion!

Coffee Bean Seafood Pasta

CREAMY SEAFOOD PASTA

The Creamy Seafood Pasta (S$14.90) is a hot pasta dish that is cooked a la minute. The lovely thick, creamy sauce you see is actually mustard cream sauce.

This filling pasta dish comes with prawns, scallops and is topped off with parmesan cheese. It sure is a textural delight!

Coffee Bean Sandwich

SESAME DRESSING CHICKEN & EGG

Served warm and fresh from the kitchen, the wholesome Sesame Dressing Chicken & Egg (S$10.90) features lightly toasted buttered buns holding creamy shredded chicken breast, hard boiled egg, juicy tomatoes and lettuce.

You can also change the toasted buns to a wrap instead (applies to all fresh gourmet sandwich additions).

HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN

Prefer something heavier on your taste buds? Go for the Honey Mustard Chicken (S$10.50) instead.

Made up of shredded chicken breast doused in honey mustard, the sandwich is complete with tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, paprika, basil and parsley all in one bite.

Coffee Bean Mexican Chocolate

CHOCOLATE CAKE & MEXICAN CHOCOLATE DRINKS

Along with the new mains, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is adding two Mexican Chocolate Drinks and a chocolate cake into their menu. Chocoholics can rejoice over this wonderful news!

Cool off from the humid Singapore weather with the icy Mexican Chocolate Ice Blended Drink (small – S$7, regular – S$8, large – S$9). The intense chocolate drink comes with hints of cinnamon and it is what we will be ordering (again) on our next visit.

Don’t worry about missing out if you prefer hot drinks instead. The Mexican Chocolate Latte (small – S$7, regular – S$7.70, large – S$8.20) is a blend of premium espresso, rich Mexican chocolate and a fusion of spices in a mug.

Of course, everyone knows The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for their decadent cakes. Their new Mexican Chocolate Cake is what you must try. It comes in three distinct layers—chocolate sponge, chocolate fudge and a layer of sweet cream with cocoa powder dusted on top. This shall be your post-gym reward.
