Bangkok is no short of places that dish out scrumptious bowls of boat noodles and one of our favourite haunts whenever we are there is Kin Tiew Kan Noodle.
Located conveniently at the bustling Union Mall, Kin Tiew Kan Noodle is a great place to check out after a hectic day of shopping and getting your nails done.
The cosy eatery is always packed with people which is a testament to how good their boat noodles are!
Each bowl here costs an affordable 15 baht each which gives you even more reason to build yourselves a tower of boat noodle bowls after you’ve polished everything off.
There are 5 broths available for you to choose from, namely Thicken Soup Noodle With Beef, Dried Noodle with Pork or Beef, Brewed Bean Curd Noodle, Hot and Sour Noodle ‘Tom Yum’ and their signature broth, Thicken Soup Noodle with Pork.
We can see why the Thicken Soup Noodle with Pork is their bestseller as it was our favourite too. Chock full of umami with a strong, porky flavour, we feel that this full-bodied concoction goes best with rice noodles.
We also really enjoyed the Brewed Bean Curd Noodle which features a tangy and slightly sour fermented tasting soup that comes with some fishcake, crackers and minced meat.
To spice up your boat noodles, you can always opt to add some ingredients such as Boiled Morning Glory (15 baht), Boiled Pork Balls (15 baht), Stewed Beef (20 baht) and Bounced-Boiled Pork (20 baht).
