With it being summer all-year-round, we tend to go out of the way just for some ice cream to cool down. Now you can find many ice cream parlours within residential estates, which means that these places are simply a short walk from your place and you’ll no longer have to perspire like crazy before getting your ice cream.
No matter which part of the island you live at, we’ve put together a list of ice cream shops to get your favourite treat so you can beat the Singapore heat without venturing too far from your ‘hood.

This humble ice cream parlour in Serangoon got us all excited with homemade cookies that ooze out molten goodness, alongside a huge range of ice cream flavours that range from light and refreshing fruit sorbets to rich and creamy options.
Molten cookies are actually pretty novel and unique and you can find this kickass treat at Kooks Creamery. The cookies are crumbly on the outside; soft and chewy on the inside.
Served with a scoop of ice cream of choice, the good old combination of warm pastry and cold ice cream is one that always lifts our spirits.
