Be it an extended lunch break, birthday celebration, friends gathering, or simply just finding an excuse to indulge in a good feast; lunch is always the meal that we look forward to everyday. Here’s a list of the best set lunches in Singapore.
Located at the fringe of Dempsey, Au Petit Salut is a fine dining French restaurant that offers great value-for-money set lunch. For $36++ per person, Au Petit Salut offers a three course set lunch which has choices like Burgundy snails for entrees, the delicious red wine braised beef cheeks for main course, Crème Brulée for desserts and a cup of coffee/tea. I had this fantastic combination when I was there, and it was one of the best lunches I’ve had!

JAAN at Swissotel is my favourite restaurant in Singapore. For lunch, JAAN has a 3 course set menu at $55, but I’d suggest the 5 course degustation lunch, which is a steal at $88.
This romantic restaurant is definitely the place to go if you want to impress your date.

Salt Tapas & Bar
Many people have the perception that Salt Tapas & Bar is very expensive. This is true. Most of the tapas are in the $20 to $30 range. But what you might not know that it has a fantastic lunch set for just $33.50++/pax. It includes a flat bread to share, and 3 tapas per person. When you consider the fact that most of the dishes on the set lunch menu are from the ala carte menu, you will agree that it is a very good deal.

Sky on 57
Sky on 57 by Chef Justin Quek not only has a terrific view of Singapore’s skyline, but it is also one of the most romantic Chinese restaurants.
The business luncheon menu ($50 for 3 course, or $60 for 4 course) is actually very reasonable. It offers some of Justin Quek’s signature dishes like Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao, Beef Broth, Singapore Sakura Chicken RIce, and Kaya Macarons. For the excellent view and good food, I would think that this is one of the best set lunches you can get in town.

I love Sage, but unfortunately just don’t get to go there very often. Jusman and Kimberly are such a great couple. Can’t wait for better things from them.
I think the most value for money lunch course is still Au Petit Salut. Beef onglet FTW!
The last time I went for the set lunch in au petit salut, there was no more lemon tart ;_;
But I was really pleased with my mains of red wine braised beef cheeks!
oh and I forgot to mention! My best set lunch in singapore would have to be from the french kitchen ^^
Me love Ember and Sage! These are the two places that I always go back to.
…noted, Thank you!! This is really time to make my gastronomic itinerary for Singapore
esther: i love the place too, unfortunately we can’t go there so often otherwise our wallet will be crying out! :p
alkanphel: yep for 30++, it’s one of the best set lunches you can find
Oysterdiaries: yea the beek cheeks were good, you need to go back and try their lemon tart (another excuse for u to return to aps)
puff: I need to check out ember soon, heard so much about it
the lacquer spoon: Start making a must-visit-list in Singapore : )
Hi!
Any great post-wedding lunch venue to recommend? Don’t mind a buffet or 3-course menu.
Looking forward to your reply!
Cheers!
Thanks for this post! I refer to it all the time for business lunches!
Novus has ceased serving set lunch.. I was gonna go there for lunch today, but was being informed that they no longer serve set lunch.. *wails*
Jaan: possibly the best lunch. never been disappointed. view is stunning. service excellent. food fantastic.
Au Petit Salut: would be the close second. go on a sunny day. and get the profiteroles.
White Rabbit: a bit noisy, but food was great. nice place for a casual date.
French Kitchen: was disappointing when i went for dinner. that’s all i’ll say about that.
